Mushroom Explorer is a comparison index of 46 functional-mushroom supplement SKUs. Each record stores what the product label, brand page, or published Certificate of Analysis states: species, part used, extraction, serving size, beta-glucan percentage, and price.
Every record links to the public sources the values were taken from, and each value is tagged with the strongest source behind it. When a source does not state a value, the field is left null. I do not estimate, infer, or fill gaps.
For records with every required input, the site computes price per gram of label- or COA-stated beta-glucan. The formula is published on the methodology page.
The full dataset is available as CSV and JSON under a CC BY 4.0 license on the open data page.
It is not. I pay the hosting costs myself. No affiliate links are currently active and there are no paid placements. If affiliate links are introduced later they will be labeled where they appear, as described in the affiliate disclosure, and compensation will not change product data, provenance, calculations, or ordering.
This domain previously published a mushroom foraging guide. That content was retired in July 2026 and its URLs now return HTTP 410.
If a listed value is wrong, email hello@mushroomexplorer.com with the product URL and the source that contradicts the listed value. I update the record and its source link when the correction checks out.
