Enter a supplement's price, servings per container, serving size, and the label- or COA-stated β-glucan percentage or milligrams per serving. The calculator returns cost per serving and cost per gram of β-glucan, and ranks that figure against the indexed products that disclose β-glucan.
price per gram of beta-glucan = price ÷ servings per container ÷ serving grams ÷ beta-glucan fraction
priceUsd / (servingsPerContainer × servingSizeMg / 1000 × betaGlucanPct / 100)
This is the same formula the methodology page publishes for the product index.
$30.00, 60 servings, 1000 mg per serving, 25% β-glucan: 30.00 / (60 × 1000 / 1000 × 25 / 100) = 30.00 / 15 = $2.00 per gram of β-glucan. Cost per serving is $0.50.
A "polysaccharides %" figure includes α-glucans and starch and is not a β-glucan figure. The calculator will not treat it as one; it only computes cost per serving for such labels.

Label-stated values are the brand's claims. This is a cost comparison only and is not medical advice.
