Google Analytics does not load unless you explicitly choose Allow analytics. Declining or making no choice prevents Google Analytics requests. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed from Privacy choices in the site footer.
The site requests its typefaces from Google Fonts when a page loads, before you make an analytics choice. That request sends ordinary connection details such as your IP address and user agent to Google. It is separate from Google Analytics, which remains off unless you allow it.
Like most hosted sites, our infrastructure receives ordinary request information such as IP address, user agent, requested path, and timing for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. The public product index does not require an account.
If you voluntarily submit an email address for product-index updates, it is used to provide those updates and related service messages. No product account is required to browse the index.
Retailer and evidence links lead to third-party sites with their own privacy practices. The site uses local storage for your analytics choice and product-interface preferences; those preferences remain in your browser.
You can decline optional analytics and still use the complete product index. Use the Privacy choices control at any time to review or change that decision.
